Former Jayhawk Officially A Lobo

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - Lobos Head Basketball Coach Steve Alford announced today that Merv Lindsay has transferred from Kansas to UNM. The 6-7 Lindsay will have to sit out the 2012-2013 season per NCAA transfer regulations, but will be eligible to play in the 2013-2014 year. Lindsay averaged 2.2 minutes in 12 games last year with the National Champion Kansas Jayhawks. In high school, Lindsay averaged 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 assists per game his senior season at Canyon County HS.
