Albuquerque (KRQE) - Notre Dame offensive lineman Matt Hegarty will only be able to watch as his teammates play Alabama for a National Championship Monday. A Farmington newspaper is reporting that Hegarty had a mini stroke in November and hasn't played a game since. He had surgery in December to repair two holes in his heart that have been there since birth.
