CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — A year after lowering the cost of football tickets, the University of Illinois has announced it will hold most prices in place for the 2013 season.

Illinois' Department of Intercollegiate Athletics said Thursday that Big Ten single-game tickets will be $49. That's in line with last season's $50 price. Non-conference game tickets will be $39. That's up from $25 for 2012.

Most season tickets will cost from $230 to $315. Like last season that works out to $32.86 to $45 a game for seven games.

Season tickets in the Horseshoe in the south end zone and student season tickets again will cost $99.

Illinois was 2-10 last season under first-year coach Tim Beckman. The Illini start the 2013 season Aug. 31 at home against Southern Illinois.
