KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Former Tennessee offensive lineman Anthony Parker is returning to his alma mater as an offensive graduate assistant.
Parker played for Tennessee from 2005-08 and made 38 career starts, mostly at guard. He earned first-team all-Southeastern Conference honors in 2007 and was a second-team all-conference pick in 2008.
Parker worked as a graduate assistant at Morgan State from 2009-10 and at Mississippi State from 2011-12.
His hiring was announced Monday through a university release.
Tennessee officials also announced that Derrick Lett was joining the football staff as an administrative intern. Lett played wide receiver at Bowling Green from 2001-05.
