It's not what he had in mind on the night of the NBA draft but, Drew Gordon will take his first professional basketball job in Serbia. The former University of New Mexico forward was not taken in the 2012 NBA Draft but, had hoped to break into the league as a free agent. Gordon played with the Dallas Mavericks during NBA Summer League. Nothing ever materialized. Gordon plans to play in Serbia for a year. He still is not sure about the terms of his contract which should be finalized Friday. Gordon was a double double machine at New Mexico last season.
