Albuquerque (KRQE) - The University of New Mexico opened up football camp in Ruidoso, New Mexico Monday. First year head coach Bob Davie is impressed with the facilities and the hospitality. Locals will get a chance to get a close look at the Lobos for two weeks. It's a change of pace in a town where wildfires destroyed homes and put a damper on summer of 2012. Some had doubts the Lobos would show after the wildfires but, are glad to see the team show up and boost the local economy.
