Albuquerque (KRQE) - University of New Mexico starting quarterback B.R. Holbrook may get all of the snaps at the Air Force Academy  saturday. Freshman quarterback Cole Gautsche is still not clear to play after missing practice for a third straight day. First year head coach Bob Davie said Wednesday, "If it's Wednesday and a guy hasn't practiced you proceed forward like he is not going to play." Gautsche hit his head on the turf in a Lobos victory at Hawaii over the weekend and has been held out since returning from the trip Monday. Holbrook came away from the game with a sore knee. If he needs to come out of the game saturday third string quarterback Quinton McKown will see action under center. The Lobos will go into the game riding a two game win streak. At 4 and 3 on the season, the Lobos have already surpassed the previous three years of production in which they won a total of 3 games.
