CLOVIS, N.M. (KRQE) - Clovis Wildcats PG John Dawson has verbally committed to play for the Marquette Golden Eagles. According to ESPN, there were 8 teams seeking Dawson's services. UNM, NMSU, and Wyoming were a few of the teams that were interested. ESPN has Dawson listed as the second best PG in New Mexico, behind Eldorado's Cullen Neal.
