Johnson wasn't challenged over the final six laps Sunday, adding another 500 title to go with his 2006 victory.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Scootie Randall scored 18 points and Temple beat Charlotte 71-51 Sunday for the Owls' third straight victory. Temple jumped to a 6-0 lead, but Charlotte tied it 12-12 9 ½ minutes in. The Owls responded with a 10-2 run, then closed the half with a 7-2 stretch to lead 39-24 at the intermission.

DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Freshman Rasheed Sulaimon scored a season-high 27 points and Duke routed Boston College 89-68 on Sunday. Mason Plumlee added 19 points and 15 rebounds for the Blue Devils. They shot nearly 54 percent — 62 percent during the first half — and outscored BC 48-17 during the 15½ minute span that put this one out of reach by halftime.
