Alford's Lobos crack Top 25

Albuquerque (KRQE) - It took a few weeks but, Steve Alford and his University of New Mexico Lobos have cracked college basketball's Top 25. The Lobos have a perfect record with 6 wins. They have victories over Davidson George Mason. The Lobos knocked off then nationally ranked Connecticut just before the Thanksgiving holiday to win the Paradise Jam Tournament in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. The wins have not come easy for the Lobos who have been up and down shooting from the field. No matter how slow they start, the Lobos always seem to find a way to win.
