A Howl Of A Time: Lobos Open Practice

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) - 4,622 Lobo Men's & Women's basketball fans piled into the Pit to catch their first glimpse of the 2012-13 edition of the Lobos. The Women's team held a variety of drills, followed by a three-point shooting competition and dance routine at the end of their practice. The Men's basketball team took the floor at 8pm, and showcased their abilities in a full on scrimmage, followed by a 3-point competition (won by Coach Alford's son Cory), as well as a dunk contest that did not have a winner. The Lobo Women's hoops team opens their season with an exhibition game against Northern New Mexico on Oct.30th at 7pm, while the Men's team hits the floor against Victory on Halloween.
