Nuclear science, history museum opens

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - On Saturday, The National Museum of Nuclear Science and History opened its doors.

The museum gets a new name, new exhibits and a broader scope of services.

Exhibits include the limo driver by Robert Oppenheimer and Los Alamos scientists in the 1940s.

The 12 acre site features hands on exhibits and history for all ages.

"I'm very interested in planes and bombs and stuff and I've always been interested in them and I want to be a pilot when I grow up maybe and so we came here," Noah Malizzo said.

The museum is located at 601 Eubank SE, near Kirtland Air Force Base.
