MINNEAPOLIS - A 23-year-old first-time mother-to-be is planning to have her child in front of thousands of people.

Boston.com reports that Lynsee (her last name was not released), a teacher from Minneapolis, is due on Nov. 19 and will broadcast the birth of her child live over the Internet.

She has been documenting her pregnancy on her blog Watch Lynsee Grow! which is part of the Twin Cities social networking site Moms Like Me .

Only Moms Like Me members will be able to leave comments during the event, but anyone with an Internet connection will be able to watch the live feed of the birth.

"We wanted to document the pregnancy and create a one-of-a-kind memento for our baby to have forever," Lynsee told the EarthTimes . "MomsLikeMe.com has been a source of support for me during my pregnancy and I wanted to give back to the community, hoping my experience would help other first-time moms out there."

In 1998, a 40-year-old Orlando woman was believed to be the first to give birth live on the Internet .
