ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - “We are not the only life in the universe. ”

Travis Walton says he knows first hand because he's seen aliens. In 1975, Walton was logging in the Arizona Gila, when he and six other loggers spotted something in the sky.

“I got out of the truck and went to get a closer look and I was knocked unconscious by a bolt of energy,” said Walton. “I regained consciousness outside the town nearest where this happened about five days later. ”

It's a story Walton has told all over the world; and next week he will tell it here in Albuquerque .

“Most of the places I have gone the last couple of years have been record attendance,” said Walton. He said people want to know what else may be out there, “The interest is probably as high as ever. ”

Tony Cisneros of Portland saw the interest too, and decided to start a business because of it.

“We are currently the only company that we are aware of not only in the united sates but worldwide that is offering a UFO tour. ”

Cisneros and a small group of enthusiasts are on the company’s first tour right now in New Mexico; a 10 day excursion taking them to alien hotspots from Los Alamos to Roswell. It cost 25-hundred dollars a person.

“You can read about them all day long in a book but to actually stand on the ground, and visit the site, and see them first hand, of course they become much more real,” said Cisneros.

Cisneros has tours planned here throughout the summer, including one with Walton as an expert guest. That means more people visiting, staying and spending locally.

The group bringing Walton to Albuquerque next week, hosts monthly UFO meetings and are planning their own convention this summer. Find out more information here http://wakeupnowconference.com/
