SANTA FE (KRQE) - The recent storm that made driving a challenge left behind good news for skiers at Ski Santa Fe where the upper mountain will open Saturday.
The snowfall combined with snowmaking means 75 percent of the area is now available for skiing and boarding, a Ski Santa Fe spokesperson said Friday.
Millennium Triple Chair and the Tesuque Peak Triple Chair will provide access to the upper mountain.
In addition to the upper trails open, the lower train known as Sunnyside will open for the first time this season.
