ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, a chance to say goodbye to the retiring space shuttle Endeavour as it dips low over New Mexico.
The Endeavour will fly piggyback aboard a Boeing 747 over White Sands Missile Range and Las Cruces on its farewell voyage across America on Sept. 19.
The shuttle is scheduled to arrive in New Mexico between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. weather permitting.
Endeavour is heading to retirement at the California Science Center in Los Angeles.
