Texting and driving bill stalls

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A statewide texting and driving ban did not clear the senate judiciary committee Wednesday night.
    
Democrat Senator Peter Wirth's bill would hit offenders with a $25 fine for the first offense and $50 for the second.
    
A similar bill is waiting for a committee hearing in the house.
