ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A summit dealing with Kaite's Law will be held in Albuquerque on Monday.

The bill, named for Katie Sepich of Carlsbad who was raped and murdered, has passed through the U.S. House and is being considered by the Senate.

It's modeled after a New Mexico law which requires violent suspects to give DNA.

The prospects for the bill will be updated and three panel discussions will be held.
