Sarah Palin brings book tour to Roswell

ROSWELL, N.M. (AP) - Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is expected to bring to her "Going Rogue" book tour to Roswell on Tuesday.

The former Alaska governor is scheduled to promote her new book at Hastings Books, Music & Videos in Roswell from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Fans numbering in the thousands have stood in lines overnight to get Palin to sign her books at stops around the country.

Palin's memoir was published Nov. 17 and sold 700,000 copies in its first week. Publisher HarperCollins says the printing will be increased from 1.5 million to 2.5 million books.

Palin's last visit to Roswell was during the presidential campaign when she spoke to about 10,000 supporters in an airplane hangar.
