SANTA FE (AP) - The Insurance Division of the state Public Regulation Commission has created a Web site that allows New Mexico consumers to compare premiums for automobile and homeowner's insurance.
Consumers shopping for homeowner's insurance can select the amount of coverage they need and the deductible they want for the type of residence they own. The site also provides premium quotes for renters and owners of condominiums.
The PRC site also shows consumer complaint ratings and financial strength ratings. And it lists toll-free phone numbers and Internet sites for contacting insurance companies.
