Caldera named to White House post

CHICAGO (KRQE) - Former University of New Mexico President Louis Caldera will serve in President-elect Barack Obama's White House.

The Office of the President-Elect on Tuesday announced Caldera was chosen as the new director for the White House Military Office.

Caldera served as Secretary of the Army at the end of President Clinton's term, and took the helm at UNM in 2003. He stepped down in 2006, but remains a tenured professor at the UNM School of Law.
