Workers to choose pension or paycheck

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Two of the four government workers presented with the choice between paycheck or pension have made their choice.

Felica Giron is the mayor's executive assistant. She's chosen to come out of retirement, and to continue working for the mayor.

Irene Garcia is Albuquerque's chief operations officer. She has chosen to retire.

John Castillo, the head of the city's Municipal Development Department, and Nick Bakas, Albuquerque's aviation officer, have not announced their decision.
