ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Republican state Rep. Janice Arnold-Jones officially announced Wednesday she is seeking her party's nomination for governor in the June 2010 primary election.

Arnold-Jones, now in her fourth term in the state House, represents northeast Albuquerque.

Doña Ana County District Attorney Susanna Martinez announced her bid for the nomination last month.

Other Republicans considering a run include former state Republican Party chairman Allen Weh, Albuquerque public relations executive Doug Turner and former U.S. Rep. Heather Wilson.

Current Lt. Gov. Diane Denish is running for the Democratic Party's nomination.
