ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Long-time New Mexico Sen. Pete Domenici said that Friday was a
sad day.
His field offices around New Mexico starting closing as he
prepares to retire from the senate post that he held for 36 years.
The offices in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Cruces and Roswell
are all shutting their doors.
Domenici is retiring in January because of a degenerative
brain disease.
Constituents can still contact Domenici's office in
Washington D.C. through mid-December.
