ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Republican representative Zach Cook of New Mexico has introduced a plan to allow people with gun licenses to carry their weapons into a bar.

Since 2010, permit holders have been able to take their concealed weapons into New Mexico restaurants that only serve beer and wine.

However, under Representative Cook's proposal they would be able to carry them into a bar or restaurant that has a full liquor license.
