ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Governor Martinez was hard at work Saturday signing and vetoing several pieces of legislation that hit her desk.

Her deadline to do so is almost here.

Saturday she signed a bill that requires poor elementary schools to serve students breakfast, even after school starts.

The bill does not require more state money, but it does increase the flow of federal matching funds.

Martinez signed nine other bills into law, and vetoed three.

She has until Friday to make a decision on the more than two-hundred remaining bills.
