ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The nephew of former president George W. Bush, who is pushing for republicans to compete for Latino voters, is scheduled to address Republican Party activists in New Mexico.
Party leaders say that George P. Bush will be the keynote speaker at the republican party of New Mexico’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner next month.
The younger Bush is the son of former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and wife, Columba, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Mexico.
Bush recently announced that he planned to run for statewide office in Texas in 2014.
