SANTA FE (KRQE) - The State Canvassing Board is expected certify this year's election winners Friday except for one metro-area race.
The contest between Republican Paul Pacheco and Democrat Marci blaze is still up in the air.
At last report Pacheco led by 66 votes, but early and absentee votes are still being recounted.
Update 3:50 p.m. : The completed recount gives Pacheco a 149-vote victory.
The district covers parts of Sandoval and Bernalillo counties.
The House race in Doña Ana County that was also the subject of a recount was decided Thursday.
Incumbent Republican Rep. Terry McMillan won by eight votes over Democrat Joanne Ferrary.
The first count ended in a tie.
