Ad taken out against minimum wage hike

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - There was a big push Monday to try to stop lawmakers from adopting a statewide minimum wage hike.
The Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce and two other groups, who've fought the hike, took out a full page ad in the Albuquerque Journal Monday outlining ways they say the hike has hurt the city of Albuquerque.
The minimum wage hike here took effect on January 1ST after voters approved it.
Now the state is looking at a similar move.
The groups claim many businesses have to cut hours to compensate for the increase.
Supporters say there's no credible evidence of that.
