ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - The city of Albuquerque’s now without its top watchdog.
The Albuquerque journal says Inspector general Neftali Carrasquillo quit last week, saying he has not gotten a case to investigate in six months.
He's been on the job for about a year and a half.
Carrasquillo says his office is not as independent as it should be and some city councilors agree.
