"No Bull" no more; Turner Ford sold

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - "Hello. Welcome to Power Ford." That's the new greeting at the former Bob Turner Ford dealership on Montano road ne.

The business has been bought out by the Richardson Investment Group, which owns Rich Ford. The new owner and general manager is Darin Wade, an Albuquerque native who worked with Rich Ford for 21 years.

Bob Turner Ford just celebrated 22 years in Albuquerque. The original dealership was on Lomas and University that now is a parking lot for UNM.

Bob Turner moved the dealership to the Montaño location in 2000.

Sales Manager Eric Adlesperger worked with Bob Turner for years, and he says the "No Bull" attitude kept the company strong through more than one economic downturn.

Adlesperger describes Turner as an astute businessperson who weathered the storm by taking care of his customers and taking care of his employees.

There could be staff changes at Power Ford, according to Wade, but he wasn't specific.

The old "No Bull" theme and trademark saying is gone, and the new logo and ads are already popping up. The sale became official on Thursday.
