Rio Rancho's Antonio Stiggins dies in IED attack

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - An Army private from Rio Rancho, N.M. has been killed in Iraq. 

The Army says 25-year-old Pfc. Antonio G. Stiggins died Friday when insurgents in Numaniyah attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

Killed in the same attack was 25-year-old 1st Lt. Omar J. Vazquez, 25, of Hamilton, N.J.

The two were soldiers were assigned to the 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, based at Fort Hood, Texas.
