SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — A retired Santa Fe police sergeant is among three men accused of counterfeiting $100 bills.

Anthony Rivera retired from the Santa Fe department in 2011.

The 44-year-old, and his 34-year-old brother Dominic Rivera and their roommate, Tyler Arment, face various charges, including forgery and conspiracy.

Arment is accused of trying to pass counterfeit bills at a gas station and at a department store.

All three were arrested over the weekend and released after posting $10,000 bond.
