ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Business leaders are expressing satisfaction with the just-ended annual session of the New Mexico Legislature.

The session ended Saturday with approval of a last-minute package of tax changes that include tax cuts for businesses.

The cuts include lowering the corporate income tax rate and creating a new tax break for manufacturers that sell most of their goods and services outside of the state.

According to the Albuquerque Journal (http://bit.ly/YDReU8 ), CEO Terri Cole of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce calls it the session the best for the business that she's seen.

CEO Beverlee McClure of the Association of Commerce and Industry says the session was much better for business than expected.
