NM DPS: Dead body found near village of Rowe

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — State authorities say the body of a woman has been found just outside the village of Rowe.

A New Mexico Department of Public Safety helicopter spotted the body about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on Rowe Mesa.

There's no immediate word on the woman's identity.

State police say the body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
