ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — The FBI and Sandia police are investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred in the underground parking garage of Sandia Resort Casino in Albuquerque.
Authorities say 32-year-old Luis Tobanche suffered a gunshot wound to the neck early Tuesday.
The Albuquerque man was taken to University of New Mexico Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Authorities say the shooting occurred about 2:45 a.m. when a person in a car apparently shot Tobanche and drove away.
Besides the FBI and Sandia police, other responding agencies included Albuquerque police, the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Department and the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
