SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — New Mexicans would be able to order Sunday brunch cocktails an hour earlier under a proposal approved by the New Mexico Legislature Friday night.
Lawmakers sent the governor a bill to let restaurants begin serving drinks at 11 a.m. rather than noon.
The proposal doesn't alter the Sunday noon starting time for purchasing package liquor.
