Bones found in same field as partial skeleton

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office says more human bones have been found in an Albuquerque-area field where a partial human skeleton was found in January.

Albuquerque police had gone to the field on Wednesday while working on a cold case.

Deputy Aaron Williamson says authorities will try to determine whether the bones found Wednesday are part of the partial skeleton found in January or from a different person.

Williamson says the partial skeleton found in January has been determined to be that of a woman whose identity has yet to be determined.
