Man plows car into family's living room

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A driver of an SUV caused a scary situation late Thursday morning in southeast Albuquerque, when he backed into an apartment building at Arno Street and Kathryn Avenue.

Police say it happened when the elderly driver hit the wrong pedal.

A family does live there but no one was home at the time.

Police are waiting for the landlord to see what will happen to the building.

No word if the driver will be cited.
