Victim thrown from truck as it rolls

    SILVER CITY, N.M. (AP) - A 31-year-old Truth or Consequences woman died after her pickup truck crashed on N.M. 35 just north of Silver City.

    State police spokesman Lt. Eric Garcia identifies her as Torrie R. Woods-Grijalva.

    State police say the pickup drove off the road Friday night, hit a tree and rolled, throwing her out.

    She was pronounced dead at the scene.
