Police investigate 8-month-old baby's death

SILVER CITY, N.M. (KRQE) - The investigation is continuing into what led to the death of an 8-month-old baby boy near Silver City.
Grant County sheriff's deputies say the baby was found dead in a home on Camino Tolteca off State Road 90 just south of town.
According to officials the parents called 911 around 9:30 a.m. Monday. The baby was then transported to a hospital where it was pronounced dead.
The baby's body is now in Albuquerque for an autopsy.
