ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A Deming native is doing something pretty amazing for his 50th birthday and for a good cause.
The Deming Headlight is reporting retired Army pilot Levi Noguess intends to fly 50 different planes in 12 hours.
Noguess, who now lives in Texas, plans on doing all this from an airport in Fredericksburg on Dec. 12.
His goal is to raise $50,000 to benefit the American Diabetes Association and a boys ranch just outside Yellowstone National Park.
