LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) - It's after Christmas and shoppers are heading back to the malls to exchange gifts and look for markdowns.

Bargain hunters who have the energy can wander back out into the retail world in search of more deeply discounted items.

Las Cruces Kohl's manager DiDi Ramondo says her store opens at 5 a.m. for after-Christmas shoppers with a lot of good deals.

The Las Cruces Kmart is also opening early. Spokesman Rick Barber tells the Las Cruces Sun-News Monday will be a big day for the store as people look for deals.
