CARLSBAD, N.M. (KRQE) - Investigators hope to have preliminary autopsy results soon for a Carlsbad boy who died after falling into a well this past weekend.
A construction company is set to fill the 32-foot deep that Samuel Jones, 4, fell into in his neighbor's yard Saturday.
State engineers say the hole was an old water well drilled before 1947 when the state started keeping records and was never completed.
The man who owns the well is not expected to face criminal charges.
