BLOOMFIELD, N.M. (KRQE) - The threat of explosion forced the evacuation of a mobile home park during a fire in Bloomfield on Monday.
The first police officer arriving reported a Winnebago was engulfed in flames and spotted a 200-pound propane tank attached to the RV.
The Farmington Daily Times reported about 20 people were evacuated for a time and that no other homes in the park were damaged.
Police say no one was injured.
The RV was a total loss. The San Juan County fire marshal said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
