Cell phone tower falls on man in NW NM

SHIPROCK, N.M. (KRQE) - A man is in critical condition after a cell phone tower fell on him over the weekend.

It happened on Sunday in Little Water, New Mexico about 23 miles south of Shiprock.

The Daily Times is reporting that 51-year-old Sammy Pacheco was working on the tower when the crane holding the tower let go and it toppled over.

They report that Pacheco fell 40 feet and the tower crushed him.
