TAOS, N.M. (KRQE) - Imagine flying down the side of a mountain at break-neck speeds, on a sled you made yourself.

It may not be the most rational thing to do, but it is a lot of fun.

KRQE News 13 photojournalist Ryan O’Connor captured sights and sounds of the Red Bull Schlittentag, at Taos Ski Valley.

The winners of that event, two UNM students who bombed the mountain in a home made spaceship.
