ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A water main break early Wednesday morning left about 100 people without water in downtown Albuquerque and left a mess on Second Street half a block from where firefighters were investigating an overnight house fire.
The break on Second Street between Granite Avenue and Mountain Road NW shut down water service until about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Crews at midday Wednesday were still working to repave the road.
Officials don't believe the fire caused the water main break.
