Trailer full of fireworks catches fire

ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - A trailer full of fireworks somehow caught fire in the northbound lanes of Interstate 25 between Los Lunas and Albuquerque on Monday afternoon.

Witnesses called 911 as four people scrambled to disconnect the trailer before the SUV towing it could catch fire.

Two women and two children ran about 100 yards up the median to safety. No one was injured in the fire.
