ALBUQUERQUE (KRQE) - Engine failure in a small plane turned a strip of Interstate 25 into a make-shift landing strip Saturday morning.
The small plane merged with all the vehicles on the interstate, after making the emergency landing near mile marker 200 south of Los Lunas.
It happened around nine a.m. Saturday.
The pilot was the only person onboard, and he was not injured.
State and local police responded to the incident. They shutdown the interstate temporarily while the scene was cleared.
